Hi Mary,

I hope you and your family are doing well! The economy is terrible out there and a lot of people are going through some tough times.

Well yesterday we celebrated Paco's first birthday. He is such a good boy and has pretty much the run of the house when I'm home. He's 100% litter box trained and has been for quite a while now.  What a smart little boy he is if I do say so myself. He's become a big part of my life and a friend for life.

I've attached some recent pictures of Paco. You'll probably notice how perfect he is!!

Thanks again for everything,
Jim and Paco

Hi Mary,

Wanted to let you know Indy is doing well.  He still flies with us, actually he prefers to fly than ride in the car.  He paces in the car, but he sleeps in the plane!  He plays well with my parents 2 Airedales.  He is still very social, he'll sit on anyone's lap, especially with my grandparents!

Thanks again.

Laura

Hi Mary!

Greg and I just wanted to e-mail you to let you know how wonderful our little chi-angel "Piper" is doing.  Since flying to get her last summer, she has surely grown and become  the center of attention to all who have come to know and love her.  She is such a wonderful chihuahua with a magnificent temperament.  She gets along so well with our cats and other dog Dutch.  They are like best friends in their own special way.

I have attached some recent pictures of her for you to enjoy!

Thank you for providing us with such a loving friend!

Hello Mary,
Been so busy, and have wanted to let you know, Rikki is the best.  I could not of imagined how much fun he would be and how much pleasure I get from him.  Thank you for allowing me to be one of the proud parents of one of your angels.
Kim

9/19/2008 Celia and Eleni

Hi Mary,
I hope you are doing well. Celia and Eleni have become best friends. They enjoy each other so much. Eleni has even learned how to "talk" to Celia. It's basically her attempt at sounding like Celia does when she barks - it's hillarious!

This photo album is from our trip to St. Louis to see my grandparents....so there are a lot of people you don't know, but I wanted you to see the ones of Eleni and Celia. They are adorable together!
take care,
Christine

He is doing fantastic! Eating and playing with Angel (the lab)  and Brenner (our son). He has pooped three times already and only had two accidents. He has become attached to me. Every time I walk out of the room he starts to whimper. He is having a blast playing though! He is too excited. He has not taken any naps today. But all in all everything is fantastic!

Hello Mary,
Rikki says Hello!
Just a quick note to say hello, Rikki and I have had the whole day together, and it has just been wonderful, taking naps, playing, napping, playing. Letting each other know we are happy to be with each other.
Thank you again, What a wonderful puppy!
Kim

8/6/2008 puppy update

Hi Mary,

Frito is doing great!! She is so playful, but also getting plenty of naps
especially with Neil sleeping during the day after work and me sleeping at
night.  She is also doing wonderfully with her litter box.  If she's in her
play pen she will always use it.  Whenever she's out of the playpen we
always move the bigger litter box out too, along with her food and water.
The majority of the time she uses the litter box but once in awhile she
doesn't make it.  We also got her a new toy, a little rope with the knots at
the ends.  She seems to be liking this one alot and she'll be getting more
too. I was wondering where we can buy those tiny fleece blankets at.  Are
they just infant blankets?  She loves being outside her pen and running
around.  She likes to dart up and down the hallway like it's her own runway.
We love her so much...she is just so adorable!

Talk to you soon,
Sarah and Neil

Hello Mary,

We have made the adjustment to puppy life.  I just wanted to email you and let you know again how very happy I am with Rikki.  He is a great little puppy, I really love to play with him and snuggle. Of course he has decided that my bed is the best one in the house, but I don't mind, if he doesn't mind my snoring. Just a quick note, to let you know we are all having fun, and adjusting well.

In a message dated 7/26/2008 11:19:31 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time,

Mary he did so well last night, I think I was prepared for some whining and wakfullness, but nothing.  He slept like a baby in his "basinette". I took Casey to his bakery job at 2:30 Rikki poked his head up and I asked him is he wanted to go too, he just put his head back down, so we left him in his bed, I got back at 3:00 and he was still sound asleep, didn't miss us a bit.  He woke up at 645 went to the potty, ate some food and started playing with his toys, so I let him out of the pen so he could run around.  Another great Rikki Day! Both my girls called this morning to check up on him, he is so loved all ready.

Rikki and went to get Casey from work at 900, Rikki was sitting on my lap and Casey say's it looks like he's just Chi-laxing,  I love Casey good sense of humor. Rikki was happy to seee Casey all wags and wiggles, so Casey held him on the way home, boys.......

Thank you for doing such a good job with him, he is truely Awesome!

Kim and Rikki

7/25/2008

Hello Mary,

What a great afternoon! The ride home was smooth,

Casey, my son and Rikki hit it off right away, they played and Casey held Rikki while I got all of our dinners ready.  Rikki toured the house finding everything of imporatance. :-) He seems very happy and is now napping at "Ricks place", Casey named Rikki's bed.  Rikki played and played with the blanket and bed.

Thank you for giving me the time to choose, they are all so beautiful, but I know I made the right choice.  My daughters called to find out about Rikki and if he came home with me or if I had made another choice, they were happy that Rikki is here and I was so happy.

It did not take him long to adjust to his new surroundings, we'll see how tomorrow is, so glad I have the whole weekend to be with him, and Casey said he's stay with him during the day.  Thank you again, so glad I met you and the puppies.  I will send you a picture when Casey teaches me how to put pictures on the email.

Thank you, Thank you!

Have a happy evening,

Kim

Hi Mary,

I can't believe it's been three whole weeks now.  Abu is doing great.  He's got one ear standing right up and the other one is slowing start to rise itself.  He's got so much spunk and energy and he makes all of us laugh.  He's grown so much too.  I just love him like crazy.  He's the greatest addition to my family!  Tank you Mary!

He does have lots of spunk and energy and we run all over the backyard!  But just as he's got lots of energy he sleeps a lot too.  He's so cute when he sleeps, he just curls up right next to me or he sleeps right on my boyfriend.  It's the cutest thing.  He's a warm little guy and loves to cuddle.  I just love that too.  I'll keep working on his ear.  He's adorable with one sticking way up and one still flopping around!  I'll always take great care of him Mary.  I know I have many of years of enjoyment ahead with Abu in my life.

I love the web page! I just want you to know how much joy Abu has brought into our lives.  I can't even remember what it was like before him.  He always puts a smile our faces.  I just love him so much.  By the way, his one ear is almost ALL the way up!!!

Thank you Mary!

Big hugs,

Karen and Abu

7/2/2008 brother for Celia?

Hi Mary,

I hope you are doing well.  Ramon, Eleni, and Celia and I are doing very well.  We are so glad that summer finally came, and now it is going by way too fast!  Eleni is 6 months old now and is cuter than ever.  :)

We see that you have some angels available.  Ramon and I have talked seriously about getting a brother for Celia.  We love her so much, and we think that she would enjoy someone of her own kind to play with.  We were wondering if we could come to meet one (or some) of the puppies you have now.  The one that caught our eyes was Joey, the white boy angel.

love,
Christine

Hi Mary -
How are you?  I was just admiring my beautiful Bodie and thought I would just check in to let you know that he is doing so well.  It's hard to believe that he is two years old now.  He very much resembles the photos on your website of his handsome father Robin.  He is such a smart, cheerful, loving and sweet little guy.  Just seeing him makes everyone smile.  He is always in a good mood, so you just have to be in a good mood, too.

Here's one funny little thing that he does that may make you chuckle.  He watches me intently when I wash my face in the evening.  Then when I hang the wet washcloth over the side of the bathtub to dry, he makes a beeline for it.  He stands on his hind legs and wipes one side of his face and then the other on the washcloth.  After that, he pulls the washcloth down onto the floor and wiggles around on it so he can get his sides and back wiped down.  Then when he's decided he is nice and clean, he scampers off with his little tail wagging like crazy.  It really is cute to see!

So, thank you again for my sweet Bodie.  He has brought such joy into my life and I am so happy that I have him.  I hope that everything is going well with you.  Bodie sends smooches!
Best wishes,
Ellen

Hello there Mary!

I just wanted to give you another update.  Abu is adjusting really well.  He's now exploring more and more of the house.  He's so playful and fun!  He's doing so well.  You've done such a great job with your puppies.  I would recommend your puppies to anyone who seriously wants a great Chihuahua puppy!  It was great to meet you.  My mother cannot give you enough compliments as well.  She said you are the most amazing breeder she's ever met.  You truly love and care for each and every dog you have and that you breed because you love Chihuahua's.  You are amazing and I will recommend you to anyone who asks about wanting a Chi Angel.  Hopefully, Abu's ears come up soon.  But he's a great puppy and I couldn't have made a better choice than going through you.  Thank you so much.  I will love him and take care of him just as you did.

Hello Mary!

I just took him to the vet.  My vet raved about how healthy he was.  Said he had great ears, great hips, great knees, no murmurs, and no worms!  He was calm and relaxed the whole time he was there!  You've raised a great puppy!

6-29-08 Puppy update

Hi Mary,

How have you been?  I hope all is well.

Oso is amazing.  He is so cute.  He is so SMART!  Everyone that sees him instantly falls in love.  He is becoming more comfortable at his new home.  He is so playful.  He makes us smile all day.  My sister-in-law is in LOVE.  She has been over every day to see him since we brought him home.  She wants to get one of your puppies that will be ready in July.  Her husband comes home from out of town tonight.  He is going to come over to meet Oso.  I am sure Oso will win him over.  I will keep you informed.  She likes Rikki and Dottie.  Is Rikki a male or a female?

Take care!

Cheryl

6-29-08 Puppy update

Hi Mary,

I just wanted to let you know that Abu is the sweetest puppy ever!  He adjusted better than I expected.  He had one accident last night.  I cleaned it right up and didn't say anything to him.  He wouldn't eat at first, but once I put it on my finger he started to eat it and then went to the plate and ate from there.  He slept well, not one peep or cry out of him.  Today he was more playful, less shaking and much more curious.  He's doing great!  You've done a wonderful job with him.  My boyfriend and I couldn't be happier.  Thank you so very much!

Karen

6/27/2008 Puppy update

Mary,

You are so right.  His name fits him perfectly!  He is the sweetest, most gentle puppy I have ever seen.  We are totally in LOVE!.  Today it rained here.  My daughter was holding him.  It started to thunder and he buried his head in his blanket while he was sitting on her lap!  Of course she comforted him immediately.  But it was so sweet!!!!  When he looks at us with those big black eyes, and the whites of his eyes show, he seems shy yet loving!  He is SOOOOO cute!!!!  We can not stand it!!!!!  Even my oldest daughter is falling in love with him (she is 17, involved with a boyfriend for over 1 year, on the verge of becoming an adult, selecting the colleges she wants to visit this summer . . . so basically no time for a puppy in her life).  However, I walked into the family room tonight and she is sitting there with him on her lap loving him.  It was a precisious moment.

My husband when to Colorado today and took our camera.  I will e-mail you pictures of him as soon as he gets back the end of next week.

You raised an amazing puppy.  Thank you for allowing us to become his new family :)  I honestly mean that.

Keep in touch!

Cheryl

6-25-08

Hi Mary,

Oso is WONDERFUL!  The whole family is in love.  He has been so good.  He has hardly cried.  Of course he is being held all the time.  When he is not being held, we cater to his every need.  He slept most of the night.  He got up around 4:00.  So my daughter held him to comfort him then we turned on the tv.  He watched tv until he fell asleep and got up around 9:00 this morning.  He has used his litter box every time.  There was only one accident and that was when he first came home and it was in his blanket.  He was just nervous.

He is amazing.  We are thrilled.  Thank you for selecting us as his new family.  We feel so blessed.

It was very nice to meet you.  Please keep in touch.

Cheryl

Greetings from Lucy and family!!!
Date: 5/21/2008

Hi Mary!

Lucy will be a year and a half soon and we wanted to let you know that she is the love of our lives.  She is the best family pet that any family could ever ask for.  We love her so much.

She has the most loving personality and is just so precious to everyone that she meets.  Having a dog that is litter box trained is just so awesome and so easy - we are so happy with how easy it is!!  We can't begin to thank you enough for the loving care that you gave her as a young puppy - she has grown into a very well mannered and well adjusted dog who is happy and loving all of the time.  :)

Just wanted to give you the update!!  Hope all is well with you and your family too!!
**I saw that you have new puppies - I would love to see pictures if you can send them over to us!!

Have a wonderful day!!
Love and hugs from Rochester,

Hi,
How are you? It's been such a long time!  I just wanted to tell you how much we love our Bella. I have not given her any vaccinations, could you please tell me which ones you recommend?  I know you felt strongly about them, I am the same way, they are such small dogs. She is so spoiled, she sleeps with me every night, I love her so much.  Scooter and her are best friends as you can see in the picture :  )  They are such love bugs!!!
If you have any other tips for me for a girl dog that would be great, I am used to a little boy.  I hope you like the pictures.  I see on your website you had more litters, they are adorable!!!! I wish I could get more, Tony would kill me!!
I hope to hear back from you,
Best wishes,

Angel Puppy updates

Hi Mary,

Jazzy is doing well....running and playing, and chewing.  Wants to chew everything, so I have been puppy-proofing the house.  He jumped out of the tote I have for him!  I think that Molly and my kitty's have got him a little anxious.  And they in turn are anxious about little running dog!   He has a comfy bed and food and water in there too.  He is already quiet.
Molly was looking at me with a "help" look on her face, and Jazzy was jumping around her trying to play, both ways I think they were uneasy with each other....so time out baby dog.
I wonder if my plan of leaving him out all the time when I am home is not a good one at this age.  I think he may be over stimulated like a little kid can get.  Maybe I have allowed him to play too long?
Let me know what you think.  He was so GLAD when I got home from work.  I don't want my guilt at leaving him all day to make me make a mistake with him.
On another subject, he is using his box!! for 1 and 2 both!  I am so happy!  And he is eating well.
I registered online today.  Named him Robin's Jazzy.

In a message dated 7/17/2008 Your recommendations worked:

Like a dream.  The absolute answer.  He is eating and sleeping well.
It may be a week or two before rest of my animal menagerie warm up to him,
but all in all, getting along fine.  He's still using the box regularly, as well as not,
but I can be patient :0)

Hi Mary,

Oh yes, we've been very busy with the puppies, my daughter ended up naming her Meeka.  Last night I took some pics of the pups playing together to send to you, BUT they came out SO blurry, tried again this evening and still blurry, I have to learn how to take pictures, regardless even if they aren't the best pics I will take some more and send them to you before the weekend.  Meeka is so darn cute, she has the cutest eyes.  I take both dogs out in the backyard around 7:30 to run around, Tigger runs wild while Meeka tries to catch up with her.

I had Meeke checked out last Friday, everything checked out good, the kids are doing fine, just wish I had 1/4 of the energy that they have.

I'll send some pics soon, even if they are blurry.

Goodnight Mary,

Darlene

Hi Mary,

Thank you for the advice.
Every time someone goes to the store, they come home with a new toy!  And he loves it.  He is so spoiled.  It is so much fun, like spoiling a baby.

We love him so much.  He brings a smile to everyone that meets him.  He is Mr. Personality.

Thanks again for your help!  I really appreciate it.

Hi Mary,

Oso is TOTALLY acclimated now.  He is quite a little character.  He makes us laugh all day long.  I can not believe how much his looks have changed already.

Thanks,

Cheryl

Just to let you know that all is well, the baby slept next to me & only woke up once at 3:00, I let her go potty & offered her some food, she declined and went back to sleep until 7:30.  She's very happy this this morning, loves chasing the cat.

Bye for now,

Darlene

7/17/2008 4:31:51 P.M:
Yeah they have lots of toys but seem to like to play/fight a lot with each other.   Just like children...... they enjoy playing with boxes and those small plastic water bottles more than the store toys.

You are very welcome, I'm glad the pictures put a smile on your face.  Oh yes, they are loved and bring us many smiles.

I will continue to send pictures, hopefully I'll get a couple of goods ones one of these days.

Recomendation

3/14/2008

Anyone considering getting a Chihuahua puppy should seek out one of
Mary's Chi Angels.  I recently received one of her adroable little
Angles and she is truly a blessing.  From the fist time I spoke to
Mary to the time I picked up my little angel Maggie she has been very
professional and helpful.  Mary has a true love for Chihuahuas and her
puppies have such wonderful temperment and personality.  I could not
have asked for more in a breeder.  She was and still is always
available for questions and concerns.  Her advice is priceless and she
has made the whole process from start to finish even more pleasant
than I could imagine.  I highly recommend her and her beautiful
puppies to anyone who wants a breeder who is unbelievablly reliable
and caring and a puppy that is out of this world.  These puppies are
truly from heaven!

Recommedation and Updates 2008 & Emails

In a message dated 3/8/2008 12:27:35 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
Mary,

First of all, Sobe is the best puppy I have ever come into contact with. He is a reflection of your breeding expertise.  He has never had an accident in the week that I have had him.  My Vet thought he was the best "little one" that she has seen in awhile.  He loves to play, and when he has had enough he goes to his Pet Yard and whines to be let in. I had to limit his "visitors" all week.  When my family heard I had a new addition everyone wanted to meet him. Even the mailman came inside to meet Sobe!  He is a little rascal!  Everyone is guilty of spoiling him.  We cannot believe how well trained he was, it just shows how much time you have spent with the little ones.  I am so happy I watched your website and waited until the right litter caught my eye.  I have nothing but praise for you and your breeder skills. You made the whole experience in picking out a puppy an enjoyable experience.  Like everyone else I was hesitant to purchase over the net, but this experience has showed me that there are honest and reputable breeders out there. Mary, I would recommend you to everyone and anyone who is looking to purchase a quality "Chi Baby"   You are simply the best.  I enjoyed the weekly updates more than you can realize. If I can ever help you in anyway let me know. When Sobe gets a little older I'm thinking that he will need a brother :) Sue

Hi Mary,

Here is a recommendation that you can post to your website if you would like:

Buying a Chihuahua puppy from Mary of Chi Angel Puppies was a very pleasant experience.  Mary took the time to thoroughly discuss caring for my new puppy and answering all my questions.  It is nice to know that I can contact Mary in the future if necessary.

I have named my new puppy Chauncey.  He is just a little bundle of love!  He has brought tremendous joy to me.  My friends and relatives think Chauncey is adorable.  I couldn’t be happier with my experience of buying a puppy from Chi Angel Puppies, and of course, with my adorable new puppy!

With Gratitude,

Jimmy

Hi Mary!

Here's the recommendation!

Also, I finally chose on the name Calvin! Thanks so much!

I want everyone to know when buying from Mary with the Chi Angel Puppies that it is an absoulely wonderful experience. The whole process was really easy. The way I did it was through an ad. I found one of the many adorable pictures of the puppies she had available. I immediately contacted Mary with Chi Angels and e-mailed her about the special little puppy I fell in love with through a single picture! All we had to do to ensure that the puppy was mine was to send in a deposit. It was simple and she is extremely trustworthy. It's not a scam or anything, which most people think when buying anything online. We sent in the deposit and the puppy I had chosen was officially mine! His picture was taken off the Chi Angel's website and very soon after that I received an e-mail update. The update included new photos (which, by the way, they are all really cute), a supply list and anything else needed for the care and planning for getting a new puppy. My mom and I went to pick up my puppy once he was eating solid foods and healthy enough to go to his new home. The puppies were amazingly adorable! Every one of them! Mary went over anything we needed to know and any questions we had for her. We left with puppy in hand, happy as could be. He's the perfect puppy from a perfect breeder! That's the facts! If you're looking for a wonderful life companion to love and care for this is the place to go! I hope everyone finds the puppy of their dreams and go through Mary with the Chi Angels, because you really can't go wrong! Loving puppy owner, Hailey.

1/12/2008 3:44:29 P.M. Eastern Recommendation

we are first time dog owners, and working with Mary has truly been a pleasure.  little izzy is already almost 100% litter box trained and that's after only a week of having her home. she has had few accidents and is wonderful about going in her litter pan. it makes dog ownership so much easier for us!  izzy has a wonderful personality. we have already bonded to her and she to us, and we are so happy to have her as a part of our family. we couldn't have asked for a better little dog, and we owe that to mary's wonderful care and breeding.  mary was so helpful in answering our (many) questions prior to bringing izzy home, and i loved the pictures and updates she sent between the time we put our deposit down and came to get her. she also sent us a comprehensive supply list that was very useful. since getting izzy, mary has been great about responding to my (many) emails and providing us with tips and recommendations. i would recommend mary to anyone who is planning to get a chihuahua - you will not only get a fantastic dog, but also a caring breeder who will serve as a wonderful resource to you as you navigate the complexities of dog ownership.

Hi Mary,

I just want to send a quick note to keep you up to date on Paco. He's doing terrific!! He is well loved and will never go without.

All my emails have been about how great my Paco is and have not written anything about endorsing for you!!
Well here it goes:
Anyone looking for a Chihuahua puppy that has been bred for good health, calmness, sociability, and hugs/kisses you must contact Mary at Chi-Angels. Her puppies are priceless. She will screen you heavily because she loves her babies and wants to make sure they go to good homes where they will be loved and cared for the rest of their lives. It's worth it.
Mary is a very nice person and a very knowledgeable breeder. She definitely knows her pups so follow her instructions and recommendations with your new puppy and you'll do just fine.
If Mary doesn't have any pups available at the time you're looking, being with my Paco for just a short time, I would recommend you wait until she does!! That is, if you qualify for an adoption.
When I qualified for one of Mary's pups, believe me, I felt special. She's the type of person that makes you feel special.

Mary, if you ever need an excellent reference, I'll be available.
I'll be in touch.

Thanks, Jim

Just to let you know that everything went well at the vets the other day. Paco received his immunization shots (only the ones you recommended) and had a fecal check which came back negative for any parasites. Just like you said it would!! The vet said that Paco is a very healthy little boy. And adorable I might add!! All her staff gathered around him and thought the same. He was quite the hit at the vets!

She gave me a sample heart worm medication (Heartgard) that she said I should start him on as a preventative. I wanted to check with you first to see if this is OK. Is this a good idea for small house dogs?
The vet did say that heart worm was prevalent in the area.
I do want to be cautious because Paco will  be taking walks this spring in the neighborhood and in public parks. Please advise what you would do.

Paco is progressing very well. He's an excellent companion went he's playful and heartwarming when he's snuggling and sleeping on me. I couldn't ask for more.

Thanks, Jim

Just a quick update. Paco is doing fine. It's kind of cute, when he gets ready for bed at night, he puts all his stuffed animals in his bed and then climbs in in between. One time I peeked in his bedroom and I didn't see him right away, until he popped his head up from under his stuffed toys. Koko seems to think that because he's use to sleeping with his litter mates, he probably feels more secure with his stuffed toys in bed with him.
During the day, he takes all his toys out of his bed.
He's the most precious little boy.

Thanks, Jim

Hi Mary,

I just sat down to give you a Paco update and saw that I had an email in my in-box!

Well Mary this is day five and Paco is doing great!! He's eating well and sleeping all night in his bedroom. I feel he has already claimed this as his secure area. He's very content in his room when I'm busy doing other things. Once in a while, I'll look in on him and he'll be just laying on one of his toys looking up at me like a little sweetheart.
He's pretty well acclimated to the house now and when out he zooms around all over the place. I try to keep up but soon am out of breathe. What a healthy little boy he is.

When he's finished playing, we take a time out, by sleeping in his room or on his daddy's chest sitting on my recliner watching TV.

Paco is  about 90 percent litter box trained at this time with his Pee and 99 percent with his Poop. It won't be long before it's a 100 percent for both because he is so smart.
He knows his name now and comes when called. Well I believe so, anyways.

So far Mary, all good things you said about your pups has turned out to be true and your training techniques are right on target. Using your advise, Paco is coming along just fine.
Every time I hold him, I thank God I ran into your Web page.

More to come!!

Thanks, Jim

It took us 1 hr. to get home and Paco ( the little darling) slept most of the way except for occasionally waking up and smelling me. Then he went right back to sleep. Not a whimper all the way home. I quess he knows his daddy now and everything is alright.
He went in his litter box as soon as we got home and is now drinking water and had a few bites of dry food. His soaked food is soaking and available to him, but he's only drinking the water out of it right now. He is playing with all his toys and in just a short time is making himself at home.

Thanks for a terrific job raising your pups. It really shows. He's so calm!!

It was a pure pleasure meeting you.

I'll be keeping in touch.

Regards, Jim
Ps. Paco is sleeping in his bed, in his bedroom. A true angel!!! I've been blessed.

Good morning Mary,

Well we had a very good night, Paco slept till about 1:30 am and then started to whimper a little so I held him for awhile and but him in his bassinette.  He fell back to sleep waking only a couple of times to look at me. What a good boy!

I just love him to pieces!!

Thanks, Jim

Hi Mary,

Great tips!!!  So tonight I will put that next to my bed like you said..  If she cries you can be sure she will be in my bed, I have to admit, I loved having her last night,!!! She snuggled under the covers all night in the crook of my stomach, it was adorable.  Wish me luck with the storage tonight.  Just so you know as I type this, she is right in front of my laptop on my lap :  )   Plus, she has gone in the box EVERY TIME, your awesome for teaching her :  )She is the cutest little thing, I love her so!!!

Mary,
It was great meeting you, learning about the puppies you mastered, and seeing what a loving environment they live in.  I named the dog Chauncy.  I had it picked out from the get go.  Named after one of my heroes- Chauncy Billups.  My mother and I spent over $200 to get all the necessary things for him and spoil the hell out of him at the same time.  Not a peep out of him til he got hungry or wanted to play.  Got the big hexagon cage, and the bassinet?  No idea how to spell that.  lol.  Just know he's already attached to me and whines if I am not in sight.  God bless you for all that you do and did for me.  Thanks!!
Jimmy

1/15/2008 4:17:41 P.M. Eastern

Mary,

Chauncy already very attached to me but if I leave for a few- my mom plays with him and feeds him.  He's sleeping right next to my bed in his bassinet.  If I'm in the room, he-'s on my lap.  He's eating well, getting playing of sleep and exercise, love,. and a safe place with lots of space!   All the brands your other email talked about- Chauncy is already using.   From the food, to the pen, to the same litter.  He's been great.  Better than I ever could have imagined.  Thanks again.  I'll send pics soon.

1/9/2008 11:04:49 P.M. Eastern

hi mary,

izzy is doing great. we put up some barriers in our living room so now she hangs out in here all the time when we are here and we just let her hang out wherever she wants - she goes to the litter box in here when needed, loves to play with her toys in here, and runs up to us to pick her up when she wants to be held. she's definitely gaining her independence. she is doing a good job eating and loves her toys. we just love her to death. i can't believe she's potty trained already - what a gift you have given us!

also, we went to the vet yesterday. the vet does not give the shots that you said to avoid. she did give her a distemper booster (i talked with her about the immunizations but she said since she was 9 weeks it was good to do it now) and fed her a little cream cheese while giving the shot - izzy didn't even notice that she was being vaccinated. the vet told me about reactions but izzy didn't have any of them. oh, and the fecal test showed that izzy does NOT have worms! :-)

i will write your review this weekend!!! and we are going to get her some of the milk bone toys asap. what do you think about getting one of those little dingo bones and putting a bit of her canned food in it as a fun treat? too young?

thanks,
jess

1/10/2008 8:43:52 A.M.  ooh, i meant to say kong, not dingo bones. she already loves the dingo bones! i just noticed that the kong toys are really popular and i thought i could stuff it with her regular food for a treat since you said no new treats yet.

she did great again last night; she is really becoming more independent. she's been sleeping with us, which we love - she usually cuddles up around my head or right next to me, but last night she slept between us and cuddled up to mark. i think that made him very happy. she is just an angel!

have a good day,
jess

Hi Mary
Now continues to amaze everyone with how smart she is.  She is very mature in her behavior. I can't believe she's only 9 weeks old. She is very social and confident.  She has bonded very well with Ellyce-- and with all the others too. Dr Pat

Mary~

Last night was perfect.  He didn't cry once.  He was
very tired when I put him in his bed, and I went
yesterday and bought this "cuddle puppy" which is a
stuffed puppy that has a slight warmer and a heartbeat
in it.  Worked like a charm.

Thanks for the help, I think the cuddle puppy did the
trick.  This morning he was asleep right on top of it.

Oh... and I think we are going to name him Goliath
since he's such a giant lol.

hi mary!

so izzy is doing well  - she went pee in her litter box, and ate some pan syrup. she hasn't eaten much food - just a little out of my hand - and is napping a lot - is that normal? mark says she is probably exhausted, but i want to make sure she is okay. she's knawed on some rawhide and is interested in some of the toys we have here.

so far, so good!

:-)

1/5/2008 11:20:28 P.M. Eastern

I'm glad you liked the pictures! I'll send a few more in the next couple of days. She has been WONDERFUL tonight - she played with her toys quite a bit in the living room with us - she has a little rope toy that she really likes, as well a a little squeaky latex hamburger. she goes crazy for them! she also loves to cuddle in her bed. the best thing is that she has not had ONE accident - she pooped 2x and peed 3x in her litter box. i'm so impressed! she is just wonderful. she hasn't cried or barked at all - she is such a cuddler. now we put her in her x-pen with her heated disk, her soft blue bed, and lots of soft fleece blankets to see if she would sleep, and she is fast asleep and hasn't made a peep for about 45 minutes.  she also ate some of her wet food.

the video didn't work, but i'm uploading it to youtube. stay tuned; i will send the link! :-)

1/6/2008 2:51:36 P.M. Eastern

thank you so much for izzy; she really is an angel! :-)

hi mary,

izzy is doing great today. she slept pretty well,  she's just been a doll - i am shocked at how well she is doing with the litter box - she had a small accident this morning but otherwise she's done a fantastic job. she walks right in there and goes! it's amazing. she is sleeping in my lap right now while i work on things for school on my laptop. she's eaten both wet and dry food today.

i'll keep the updates coming! did you see the videos?

1/6/2008 8:42:12 A.M. Eastern

And it has just dawned on me that will all that is going on you have not gotten a PJ update.  And today is his 2 month B-day!!!  We will have to have a party

Has not grown much in a week, but his motor skills are developing in leaps and bounds, he wants to do everything the big guys do.  And my favorite part, is he will be running full tilt and decide it is nap time, and he's gone!!!  Eating great, loving big, full of kisses and a tail that never stops.  And he will use both his litter and the pee pee pad if he has to go.  Only a few pee pee accidents, such a good boy.

Patches is still my little baby, and he enjoys that position in the family.  Loving on his daddy now, and really loving on his baby brother.

And Lilliana, our beautiful beautiful Queen of the Hop.  She is so easy going, nothing phases her.  Everybody is welcome in her world. 9 months old this week.

Last night I watched PJ climb down the bed and down the steps, went to his potty and then came back to be picked up.  It will be a few more weeks., but as soon as I am comfortable with his feet, he is in the bed.  Right now PJ and Patches are squished in one of the green beds together.  They are sooooo beautiful.

Lilli has become quite the daddy's girl.  And Graham is thrilled, she looks at him with her goo-goo eyes and waggy tail and Graham is a puddle of mush.  I make sure each one gets special attention every day, and it's amazing (even though I know they are creatures of habit) they each know when, and to wait their turn.  And we will make Archie feel just as loved and welcome.

I just love watching them sleep all bundled together. They are so white you can't tell where one ends and the other begins.

By the way, I tell the kids you are the birth mommy and I am the adoptive mommy.

Archie and PJ, who you can see has not grown much.

Archie is a very calm sweet little dog, no shaking so far.
He was a prince in the car ride home.  Snuggled with me and slept most of the way.

Everybody is sleeping now, so the house is very quiet.  When they are all up later, I will find some games to play if Archie is up to it, to start socializing him in around here.

Archie is getting more animated, hour by hour.  His tongue and tail are exactly like Lilli's and Patches and PJ. Never stop, both Graham and I have already had our faces washed by him.

I am watching something now that would certainly make you cry.  Patches and PJ and Archie are having a ball playing together right now.  All that white is blinding!!!
I wonder if they know they are brothers?

We all went to bed by 10, Archie was straight under the covers and slept next to me all night.
Too cute!   He is a very sweet little boy, and fitting in very well.

Mommy Mary told my parents there was another puppy named Archie who is one and half, that needed a home.  My Mom and Dad know that any puppy that Mary had is going to be perfect and wonderful in every way, and said yes they would take him, without asking a question.  So yesterday Archie came to live with us.

Now Mommy Mary, I know I am very spoiled, but I don't mind sharing my home with all these boys, but you couldn't make my Mommy get another puppy that looks like me.  Patches, PJ and Archie all look alike.  Next time make sure I get a sister who looks like me, please!!!!

And my Mommy Mary and Papa Joe are the best. From the minute we are born, we are loved and hugged and kissed and cared about all the time.  By the time you get us, we are ready for all your love and ready to give it right back to you.  Mommy says she thinks somehow our tongues and tail are attached together, because both are always going at the same time.

And if Mom ever has a question or concern, she asks Mary and she is right back to my mom with knowledge and advise.  When I had my operation 3 weeks ago, you would think Mommy Mary was having surgery.  She stayed in contact with Mommy all day to make sure I was alright.  And here I had an operation, and all my two crazy mommies could do was worry if I pooped or not!!!  How humiliating!!

Being one of Mommy Mary's Chi Angel puppies is the best ever!!!!!!

I love you and miss you Mommy Mary and Papa Joe, can't wait to see you again.

Love,

Lilliana

Mary,
Everything has been great.  When we got in the car, Kessler looked around and he pretty much fell asleep the whole ride home, he didn't even cry!  When we got home I walked him around the house and put him in his play pen.  He sniffed things out and went to his hard food and ate some.  Then he went to his litter box and went pee and poop, we were amazed.  He loves his play pen and he curled up in his bed with his blankets.  He loves to burrow in them and get all cozy.  We were going to bed and we put him in his bassinet, he cried a little so we picked him up and he fell asleep next to David and then we put him in his bassinet where he slept all night long.  Again he loves his bed and burrowed in his blankets.  In the morning he woke up and we cuddled and he fell asleep for another 3 hours and I put him back in his bassinet.  He ate some food and went potty in his litter box again!  He has been a joy he loves to play and he tells us when he wants our attention.  You did an awesome job with him...he is terrific!

Thanks so much!  He is a complete joy and he is very much apart of our family.  He is in good hands and we couldn't be happier!

To achieve all that is impossible, we must attempt the impossible.  To be as much as we can be, we must dream of being more.

3/3/2008  Kessler is doing great.  He is the best puppy!  Here are some pictures from this weekend

3/1/2008
My mom took one look at him and called him Twinkie.  I cannot call him Twinkie, but I will make Twinkie part of his AKC name.  He will be called Sobe though (LOL).  He is such a sweetbaby boy.  He used his litter box to pee and to poop.  He was shaking whenever I held him, so I laid on the floor and let him come to me on his terms.  He came and laid down on the floor and put his head on my face and licked my nose.  He liked his x-pen as well as his bassinett.  Here are a few pictures.  And he has not cried a bit.  I love him already.  How is the last baby holding up by himself?
P.S. You didn't tell me that he loves watching television!!!!!!!

3/2/2008

Hello!!!
Maggie is wonderful!!!  We have only had her two days and we
are already so attached,  I feel like we are a family.  About 20 min
after we got home she was no longer nervous and was back to her
playful self.  Friday and Sat night she only whipered once and I just
put my hand in her bassanett and she fell back asleep.  Guess What!!
No accidents yet!  She has gone every time in the litter box.  We
couldn't have asked for a better puppy!  Thank you so much!  Expect
photos and the recomendation somethime this week.  Talk to you soon!  -
Emily and Dan

3/3/2008

Hi!
We just took Maggie to the vet this morning.  We did a fecal test
and had her looked over.  Everything went great!  The whole office
loved her and she is very healthy.  We told the vet we don't want to
start the distemper for another few weeks and she said ok.  Just
wanted to let you know that eveything went great and she is still
doing awesome.  She is becoming more comfortable each day!!  She likes
to get down on the floor and play with Dan.   Talk to you soon!   -
Emily

3/28/2008

Thank you so much!  That all sounds great!  I just wanted to make sure
that by running to her everytime she cries I'm not encouraging the
behavior.  You are right, she is my little baby!  Sometimes as I'm
doing things around the house she will be at my feet "asking" to be
held.  I'll pick her up and cradle her in my arms just like a baby,
and she loves it!!  She always wants to be on my lap too.  We have a
very special bond.  She loves Dan too but we are especially close.  We
have trimmed her nails a few times now and she sqirms less and less
each time. Dan, Maggie and I have all become pros at it.  She is a
little angel and I could not have asked for a more perfect puppy!  How
are Junior and her other brothers doing?  Have you found a home for
Junior yet?  I forgot to tell you!  We taught Maggie to sit!  She does
it on command every time, she is so smart! Here is a pic of her and
Dan.  One of her favorite things is for us to lie on our tummies on
the ground so she can climb
on us like jungle gyms.  We spend more time on the laying on the floor
than anything else!  Thanks again!   -Emily

I know we haven't met him but with all the pictures and the movie we have named him...if this is appropriate with you.  If this ok we would love to call him Kessler.  We have pictures up everywhere and are falling in love with him by the minute.  I will keep a lookout for pictures tomorrow.  Thanks!

Mary, the pictures were great.  I have been waiting and checking my e-mail at every break while at work today.  It brought a smile to my face when I saw your name in my inbox.  I am so loving my chibaby.  I have chosen the name "Sobe" for short, with the actual name as  "So be it."   I cannot wait until we can meet in person.  Thank you for taking such good care of him for me!!!

We are planning to pick him up on Friday at 2pm still.  We went shopping this weekend and spoiled him rotten.  He has all the recommended items you suggested and more toys then he probably will need.  Kessler has lots of fleece blankets to keep him warm and we have set up his play pen and his bassinet...the only thing missing is him:)  I keep getting compliments on how you have updated us with pictures and his development...everyone is impressed including me.  I will be more than glad to write a recommendation!  I will also send you pictures this week of his area so you can look it over..I want to make sure everything looks ok for him...any suggestions would be great.
I saw the video of kessler's brother and I hope someone takes him soon...he is just as adorable as Kessler...anybody who has been looking for a puppy I have recommended you!
I didn't see the video...is it on the website?

Hello Mary,

I am getting so excited, I keep checking his supplies to make sure that I have everything.  If you cannot do Sunday, then Saturday is fine.  Whatever day you pick I will be available!!  Oh and I will email you on Friday for final instructions.  It has been such a pleasure "talking" back and forth with you.  I will miss it, but I will keep you aware of Sobe's development.

Your new friend,
Sue

Mary,
I was very pleased with the pictures of Sobe.  I went to your web page and when I didn't see his picture I became sad.  So when I checked my Blackberry and saw I had an e-mail my spirit rejoiced.  It is always a pleasure to see how he is growing so fast.  He looks so shy.  I cannot wait to give him some kisses!  I plan on taking a few days off from work so that I can be home with him and make his transition easier.  Sunday March 2 at 4pm is fine for me.  Thanks so much.
Counting down the days,
Sue

Mary,

Here is a quick Sobe update.  He is quite the little rascal.  He loves his morning treat of oatmeal (1/2 teaspoon).  He has learned that if he sniffs under my Ma's chair, he will find a few crumbs!  He knows his name and will come when called.  He loves to talk with his paws.  If you ignore him, he will shake his paws at you for attention. He has not had an accident yet!!  WOW

We went to the Vet on Saturday.  He is now 2.6lbs.
I love Sobe so much.  I cannot thank you enough for giving me the privilege and pleasure of adopting him.

Sue

Mary~

Hi how are you?  Just wanted to give you a little
update on Goliath, he is doing great and is such a
sweet little guy.

I did want to know.. do you have anymore tips on potty
training?  When we are there, he goes in the litter
box.  When we aren't watching him, he has no desire to
use it.

I could use any suggestions you have.

Thank you,

Leanne

Hi Mary!!!

LiLi is doing amazing.  She is everything I could have imagined in a small package!  She is a complete mommy's girl.

She is an AMAZING watch dog.  We don't even need a doorbell, because she is on the back of the chair alerting us someone is near before we see them or hear them!

She is very well potty trained....during the day in her litter box and when we get home outside.

She loves the snow and she loves swimming in the lake, but does not like the rain at all.
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with her!  She makes every day worth going home and even though she has a radar tongue that will find your mouth before you even realize it's coming, she is the greatest!

My boyfriend and I were just talking about her and how wonderful she is and how we can't imagine life without her!  The other animals love having her around too. So, in closing I have sent a few pictures of her life with us.  We have more pictures of her than of us now!  Also, I wanted to thank you again for everything.  I was just reading a news story about a chi breeder who got 41 of them taken away from him for animal cruelty and horrible living conditions.  Those stories make you realize just how great you are to these animals and realize there is a reason all of your puppies turn out perfect and why you get sooooo many thanks from everyone you deal with!

Thanks a ton and enjoy the pics!  LiLi send kisses and hugs to mommy Mary!

Love,

Mindy Collins

Ps.  I was just telling my boyfriend when we get a bigger house I want another one for a playmate for LiLi, so we may be back!!!

Hello Mary,
I haven't spoken to you in quite some time. I was just wondering how you were doing. Also wanted to let you know how Serena is doing. She was spayed last summer.. she is doing wonderful. She loves her little tummy. Ha Ha. She could eat more than her whole body weight. Of course, I do monitor how much she eats, and the type of food she eats.
I love her very much. I am still very thankful that I have her in my life. She means the world to me. She is soo attached to me it's unbelievable.
But, I still would love to get her a friend. Do you have any dogs or puppies available?
Please let me know.. I would really love another chihuahua in my life.
Thanks again.
God Bless,
Sarah

Hi, what a beautiful site with a whole lot of BEAUTIFUL Chihuahuas!

I am in the market for a SC male.  I would like one with a great CH pedigree.  It is my goal to show him then breed him to my SC bitch.  She has 13 points and in a couple of weeks she will be shown in 5 shows.  I'm sure she will make CH at one of those shows.  I would like to have a white, cream or fawn sc male.

Do you have any future hopefuls that fit the bill and that you are selling?

Please let me know.
Gail

i just wanted to update you on izzy. she is doing really well - she doesn't cry in her xplaypen anymore and even likes to sleep in there sometimes. she is such a joy. she loves toys, running and playing in the apartment, and mark has made up all kinds of little games that they play together. she still has an occasional accident, but we are doing much better with it. she is such a cuddler!
